Beyonce has pledged to donate all the proceeds from a new song to relief charities helping victims from a string of recent natural disasters.

The pop star has set up a page on her website to encourage people to donate to charities helping victims of Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria.

She is also helping raise money for relief efforts in Mexico, which was hit by two deadly earthquakes.

The 36-year-old’s first single and music video since giving birth in June is a remix to J Balvin and Willy William's hit "Mi Gente."

Posting the new Spanish song on Instagram, Beyonce said: “I am donating my proceeds from this song to hurricane relief charities for Puerto Rico, Mexico and the other affected Caribbean islands. To help go to beyonce.com/reliefefforts.”

Hurricane Harvey caused widespread flooding in Texas earlier his month, before Hurricane Irma tore through the Caribbean and Florida

Islands already reeling from the effects of Irma were then battered by Hurricane Maria on September 20.

It was the most powerful storm to hit the US island of Puerto Rico in nearly 90 years, causing widespread flooding, completely cutting power and heavily damaging homes, roads and other infrastructure.

Mexico, meanwhile, suffered two deadly earthquakes. The second, a 7.1 magnitude tremor on September 19, caused at least 343 deaths.

The pop star has already contributed to the relief efforts.  In the wake of Hurricane Harvey, she returned to her home town of Houston and volunteered to hand out meals to families devastated by the storm.

She also joined the “Hand in Hand” telethon on September 12 by filming a rare video to encourage donors to call in and contribute to the relief efforts.

Her husband Jay Z's streaming service Tidal is also organsing a benefit concert on October 17 to raise money for victims of the storms and the earthquake.
