A runaway bobcat that’s broken out of his New Jersey home at least seven times has been caught again and is now being held at a zoo until his owner appears in court.

Rocky, a 38-pound declawed hybrid bobcat, escaped from his Beach Haven West, Ocean County, house at about 9 a.m. Tuesday.

He roamed the neighborhood before running off into nearby woods.

The cunning critter managed to avoid capture for almost 22 hours, until he walked into a trap set by animal control officers at 7:15 a.m. the following morning.

He was caught in a wooded area within five blocks of his home, said Stafford police Cpt. Tom Dellane.

The bobcat was taken to Popcorn Park Zoo, in Forked River, where he’ll now remain until his owner Ginny Fine appears in court on Dec. 5.

Rocky has previously broken out of his home at least six times, reports NJ.com.

Ginny Fine, Rocky's owner, has appeared in court several times over her escape expert pet.

His escapee antics have landed Fine in court on four occasions.

In a Sept. 12 hearing, she was ordered to pay a $250 fine after pleading guilty to allowing the animal to get out.

The last time she appeared before a judge, she was told that if Rocky escaped again then he would be taken away.
