Dangal's success bash was star studded. The film, which even after a month of its release, is going strong in movie theatres and breaking Box-Office records. The team threw a grand party for the film industry on Saturday night in Mumbai and apart from Aamir's contemporaries/friends Salman and Shah Rukh Khan, almost the entire film industry came to wish the team for the fabulous film they had created.
From Rekha to Alia Bhatt, Anil Kapoor to Randeep Hooda- actors came to celebrate the Dangal. Aamir Khan looked dapper in a white aligari and kurta and grey waistcoat and walked in with wife Kiran Rao and daughter Ira. The organisers had put up a beautiful montage of behind-the-scenes photos from the film's sets and Aamir was seen reminiscing about the film with his daughter. (All photos by Yogen Shah)
Khan also indulged in a bit of PDA on the red carpet as he planted a kiss on wife Kiran's cheek while the couple posed for cameras. Kiran was co-producer of the film.
Shahid Kapoor walked in with his wife Mira and the two were seen interacting with Aamir and Kiran.
Shahid and Mira also caught up with Alia Bhatt and Ayan Mukerji. Alia is known to be close to the couple.
Dangal's director Nitesh Tiwari was seen welcoming guests with his wife, filmmaker Ashwini Iyer Tiwari. Directors like Karan Johar, Homi Adajania, Kunal Kapoor, Ashutosh Gowarikar and Subhash Ghai also attended the bash.
Aamir's friend and co-star of many films, Juhi Chawla came solo and posed with director Sujoy Ghosh. The bash also saw Sunny Leone, Radhika Apte, Yami Gautam, Vidya Balan, Kriti Sanon in attendance along with Bobby Deol, Aditya Roy Kapoor and R Madhavan.
The film's women were also seen at the bash. Zaira Wasim, Sana Fatima Sheikh, Sanya Malhotra and Sakshi Tanwar were seen posing at the red carpet.
Veterans like Asha Bhonsle, Waheeda Rehman, Asha Parekh also came to wish the team. So did Bengali superstar Prosenjit Chatterjee and Marathi actress Sai Tamhankar.
Aamir's borther Faisal and nephew Imran Khan and his wife Avantika also attended the bash.
