Vasai: 5 students from the same college injured in road accident

Five students of St. Peter college in Vasai were injured after after their car was involved in an accident on Monday morning. Police consider it a case of rash driving

Vasai: 5 students from the same college injured in road accident

Two people are critical and three others suffered minor injuries after their car was involved in an accident at Vasai on Monday morning. All five are students of the same college. Police officials consider it a case of rash driving.



The injured are students of St. Peter college in Vasai and were travelling in an Ertiga car. Police said the driver lost control and the vehicle ended up in a farm land.


Two out of the five -- Krishna Mor and Dharmesh Maradia -- are said to be critical and are currently in the ICU at Golden Park Hospital, Vasai . The other three -- Vijay Rathod, Darshil Desai and Dheeraj Parbhu -- suffered minor injuries.

According to police officials, the incident took place at 9.30 am on Monday morning near Suncity West at Ghas road (Ghasgaon). The students were on their way to college.

Senior Inspector Parkash Birjidaar of Vasai police station said, "Two students' condition is critical and have been admited in ICU others received minor injuries."
