Rumors.When pop mega-star Beyonce announced her Formation world tour following her Super Bowl appearance on Sunday, Israel’s online rumor mill swung into full gear.By Tuesday, a Facebook group called “Beyonce Israel” had created a Facebook event for a Queen Bey concert in Park Hayarkon on August 3.Over 16,000 people said they were going, and 18,000 people expressed interest.Despite the fact that Israel was conspicuously absent from the tour list on Beyonce’s website, Flawless doctored photos circulated with Israel added at the end. Few bothered to check the original source.Websites such as Happyintlv and Tourist Israel happily posted unconfirmed stories that put the Israeli Bey Hive and all the Single Ladies in a tizzy.
