Liverpool and Manchester United are among seven sides keen on signing Dani Alves in the summer.

The Brazil international is out of contract at Barcelona this summer and while they are keen on re-signing the full-back, Sport reports that SIX other clubs are also interested.

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly leading the race for the 31-year-old, who has been with Barca since 2008.

But both Manchester United and Liverpool have been heavily-linked with Alves and both are said to be keen on a bosman free transfer to bring the former Sevilla star to the Premier League.

Louis van Gaal, the United manager, will reportedly offer Alves a bumper-wage packet and signing bonus to persuade him to head to Old Trafford.

In favour: Alves remains a key part of Enrique's side

Italian pair Inter Milan and Juventus have both also been mentioned as possible destinations, as well as German club Borussia Dortmund.

Alves, who cost Barca £23million seven years ago, has made 329 appearances for the club, scoring 20 goals and offering an astonishing 88 assists during that time.

Last month Luis Enrique declared Alves "an example of what a professional should be" and is reportedly keen on offering the 77-cap Brazilian a new two-year deal.
