Nagarjuna feels that directorial talent is not in scarcity. As someone who has dared to work with newcomers from time to time, he is qualified to say it.

"There is loads of talent out there. It just needs to be spotted and encouraged," he has said.

The Akkineni hero has had a mixed experience out of giving debutantes a chance. The most recent shining example is that of Kalyan Krishna, whose 'Soggade Chinni Nayana' was a big Sankranthi hit. Buoyed by his talent, Nag gave the youngster the responsibility to deliver a hit for Naga Chaitanya.

As a creative brain at Annapurna Studios, Nag has been doing his bit to spot fresh talent.
