The first-look motion poster of Dhanush's Kodi was released on Wednesday, September 28. The promotional material was unveiled online directly.
It gives a glimpse of Dhanush's two avatars in the film. While he sported a moustache in one part, he appears in a thick-bearded look with a moustache in the other. Both the looks have mass appeal and successfully generated curiosity around the forthcoming film.
People have appreciated the Kolaveri di hitmaker's new looks. Also, the cine goers have given thumbs up for the background score composed by Santhosh Narayanan.
Prior to the motion poster release, the crazy fans of Dhanush came out with their own versions of Dhanush's posters. Thanking them, the Kolaveri di hitmaker tweeted: "Enjoying all the fan made designs of #kodi .. Thanks for all the love and support. Love you all. [sic]"
Kodi is a political thriller, which is written and directed by RS Durai Senthilkumar of Ethir Neechal and Kakki Sattai fame. Dhanush will be seen in a dual role and would romance Trisha Krishnan and Anupama Parameswaran in the upcoming flick. Kaali Venkat, Subbu Panchu, Vinu Mohan, Sathish and others are in the cast. Ilayathalapathy Vijay's father SA Chandrasekhar will be seen in a special role.
The Tamil flick has Santhosh Narayanan's music, Praveen KL's editing and Venkatesh S has handled the cinematography for the upcoming Tamil flick, which will hit the screens during Diwali festival.
Audio and trailer release dates of the movie are yet to be revealed.
