Indian wrist spinners Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal have been a revelation in the ongoing ODI series against South Africa.

The duo picked up another three wickets between them in the sixth and final ODI on Friday, with the Proteas getting shot out for a meagre 204, to take their combined tally to 33 wickets for the series.

Apart from the fourth ODI that they won, South Africa have been entirely clueless in trying to tackle the guile of the Indian spinners.

They built their reputation with solid performances on home soil, but Yadav and Chahal have truly entered the big league with their heroics in South Africa.

Former Indian opener and Twitter superstar, Virender Sehwag, summed things up when he said that Yadav and Chahal have 'brutally stabbed' South Africa in this series. Although Viru's tweet might seem a little too graphic, it aptly reflected how devastating the Indian duo has been in this series.

In his tweet on Friday, Sehwag hilariously coined a new term - ChaKu - combining the first few letters of Yadav and Chahal's first names. The Nawab of Najafgarh also praised young speedster Shardul Thakur, who picked up four wickets, including that of the openers, to break the hosts' back in the sixth ODI.

"Yeh #ChaKu humka dedo Thakur .33 wickets for ChaKu , stabbed South Africa brutally. Absolutely brilliant. Oh, by the way Thakur ne bhi aaj 4 wickets liye. Well bowled. 5-1 would be wonderful," wrote Viru on Twitter.

Here's his tweet

India bagged the ongoing six-match ODI series 4-1 by winning the fifth ODI in Port Elizabeth on Tuesday. It is their first ever ODI series victory on South African soil. Having bowled out the hosts for a paltry 204 in the sixth and final ODI at the Supersport Park in Centurion, Virat Kohli's Men In Blue look set to end the series with a telling scoreline of 5-1.
