Tabu to play mom to Nagarjuna's son Akhil Akkineni in Telugu film

Back in the 90s, Tabu and South star Nagarjuna were romantically linked, and now, the actress is all set to play mother to his son Akhil Akkineni in a Telugu film, produced by Nagarjuna.

Apparently, the actress had been approached for the role a month ago and she liked it so much, that she agreed to do it immediately. The film's shoot is expected to begin in Hyderabad sometime next month.

Although Nagarjuna and Tabu never admitted to their relationship, they apparently parted ways as the southern star could not commit to the relationship. But seems the friendship is still intact.
