Fanne Khan: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan reveals details about her role in Anil Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao-starrer

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is all set to share screen space with Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in her upcoming movie, Fanne Khan. The movie is reportedly a remake of a Dutch movie titled Everybody's Famous, which was nominated in the Best Foreign Language Film category in 2001.

Now while talking to a leading daily, Aishwarya has revealed interesting details about her role in the film. "I am a chapter in the film, not the fulcrum. There are other talents in the story and you will see why I chose to do the film once it releases. I am working with Anil for the third time and though I want to call him Anilji, he insists I call him Anil. He is such a dedicated and ever-charged artiste," Aishwarya told Hindustan Times.

According to media reports, Aishwarya plays a singer in the movie while Anil will be playing her father. Interestingly, in Fanne Khan, Rajkummar is paired opposite of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who is 10 years senior to him.

About working with this star cast, Virendra Arora of KriArj Entertainment had said, "Fanne Khan for us is a combination of great talent with sheer enigma on the silver screen. Anil Kapoor Sir, who is a powerhouse of talent, & Rakeysh ji, who is a brilliant filmmaker, and Aishwarya's charisma, all put together, will surely lit up the screen. It will be one of our most cherished release of 2018."  

Fanne Khan will mark the debut of adman and long-time associate of Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Atul Manjrekar and is slated to release on July 13.
