Shruti Hassan celebrated her 31st birthday over the weekend at her father, Kamal Haasan’s plush residence in ECR Chennai, and according to close sources, 15 to 20 of her close friends from the industry and personal friends, who were invited, were part of the birthday bash.
Kamal Haasan was right there on time and two of Shruti’s childhood friends flew in from London along with a few friends from Mumbai and Chennai, including Tamannaah Bhatia, Jiiva, Vishal and Prabhudeva made it to the bash.

It was a lovely, casual party at the house, with a spread of a three-course meal and music. It was an intimate setting that allowed people to mingle and spend time with the birthday girl, revealed an insider.
Earlier, she celebrated her birthday on the sets of her Telugu film Katamarayudu opposite Pawan Kalyan, where the team got her to cut a special cake. On the work front, Shruti has a promising year with Behen Hogi Teri in Hindi, Si 3 opposite Suriya in Tamil and her father's Sabaash Naidu.
