Asaduddin Owaisi hits out at BJP, Congress over Babri Masjid demolition

The growing popularity of the MIM was worrying so called communal parties

Hyderabad: Hyderabad based United Muslim Forum has resolved to carry out its legal fight till they get justice over the Babri Masjid issue.

In a meeting organized here in the city late on Tuesday night on the eve of 22 years of Babri Masjid demolition, the forum resolved the continue its fight within the parameters of the Constitution to prove the right of the Muslims over Babri Masjid.

Addressing a meeting, MIM president and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi targeted the BJP, Congress and Samajwadi parties and said that the growing popularity of the MIM was worrying so called communal parties.

Criticising the move of the BJP to mark the birth anniversary of freedom fighter Raja Mahendra Pratap within the campus of Aligarh Muslim University on December 1 by claiming that Mahendra Pratap donated land to the university, he said it was a fictitious piece of history and it was an effort to undermine the prestige of the varsity.

He questioned the BJP if they will agree to celebrate the birthday of Hyderabad Nizam who had donated Rs1 lakh to Banaras Hindu University.

Mr Owaisi reiterated that their party will contest elections in West Bengal, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. He also targeted former CM of Madhya Pradesh Digvijay Singh for his remarks against MIM.
