Vidya Balan walks out of Kamala Das' biopic

Vidya Balan has opted out of Aami and here's the reason.

The last time Vidya informed us that she had already begun prep for the film and was kicked about playing Das in the biopic. Adds our source, “She wanted some changes in the script and the final draft given to her didn’t excite her. It’s after this that Vidya decided to opt out. Her spokesperson confirmed the news, “Vidya respects the director and the team working on the film. However the director and she had very different approaches to the film. So, she opted out of the film in the most amicable and professional manner. Any other reasons cited are untrue. As of now Vidya Balan has two projects lined up for 2017 - there's Begum Jaan, and Tumhari Sullu. In former, she plays a madam of Brothel, while in the latter film, she plays a radio jockey. In a recent interview with a leading daily, she opened up about both her roles - “I have Begum Jaan which is extremely powerful. It let my vent my angst as a woman. In Tumhari Sulu, I play a radio jockey. The character is different form the morning jockey I played earlier for ‘Lage Raho Muuna Bhai’ (2006). This one is naughty and fun.” In the same interview, she had revealed hw she would love to work with Ranbir Kapoor as she considered him a great actor.
