Khaidi No.150 box office collection day 3: Chiranjeevi's comeback film hits the Rs 50 crore mark worldwide

Megastar Chiranjeevi recently returned to the big screen after a decade on January 10, 2017 with his 150th film - Khaidi No. 150. There was a huge buzz around this film considering the Telugu superstar was returning to the big screen after a long gap. While the movie has received decent review, box office wise, it has fared even better. It has got off to a 'electrifying start' at the US box office. Just with its premiere shows, the film managed to collect Rs 8 crore. And now Khaidi No. 150 is on its way to cross the $1.5 million mark as it collects Rs 9.47 crore. At the local box office, it has gone on to collect Rs 30 crore (gross) from AP and Telgana states, Rs 7.50 crore ( gross) crore from the Karnataka state and Rs 3.35 crore ( gross) form rest of the world. So, the grand total stands at Rs 50.5 crore worldwide ( gross) Boss is back with a bang indeed! At this rate, the movie will surely touch the Rs 100 crore mark in a few days time. What's really working for this film is its fantastic performance at the US and local box office alike. Looks like everyone is back to see the megastar spin his magic on screen. Even at the advance booking stage, the movie collected a whopping Rs 4 crore from the US box office. Looks like, Chiranjeevi's comeback film is going to break records everywhere. Khaidi No. 150 is the Telugu remake of the Tamil movie Kaththi. The remake starred Chiranjeevi in a double role. He was seen opposite Kajal Aggarwal for the first time. The movie was directed by VV Vinayak. The film also marked Ram Charan's debut into production. While Chiranjeevi did a decent job as Kaththi Seenu and Shankar, the supporting cast Brahmanandam and Ali ( as Dober and Malli0 were great too. The director made sure, the movie wasn't just about the megastar. Also, the actions scenes with Chiranjeevi were brilliant.
