Rajinikanth's Kabali is finally here! We have been waiting to catch the superstar on the big screen for the longest time now, and here it is! A slick, stylish don that defends the Tamilians in Malaysia. The movie has received a phenomenal response in terms of bookings everywhere. Everyone wants to watch Kabali and we aren't exaggerating. According to a trade source in Bangalore,"It's 100 percent occupancy for the next three days. The first show began at 5 am. It will release in 180 screens in Karnataka for the first week." Can you imagine? It's housefull for the next three days across 180 screens in Karnataka. While in Mumbai, according to Gaiety-Galaxy owner, Manoj Desai "The occupancy is 80 percent. " He also commented that Kabali has received a better opening as compared to the other films that released today (Madaari, Star Trek) While Rajesh Thadani, Distributor, Multimedia Combines, called the opening for Kabali 'fantastic'. Around the Maharashtra belt, it's about 50-60 percent approx while down South, he stated that it would be around 90-100%. He further commented saying shows have begun as early as 6 a.m. for Kabali! Yes, it's true! You do get to hear all the unbelievable things when it comes to a Rajinikanth movie! Kabali da! The movie is said to have released in 5000 plus screens in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi worldwide. Rajinikanth caught his own film with his daughter Aishwarya at a premiere show in US while his family caught the movie at Albert Theatre, Chennai. So, have you caught the movie yet?
