The night was really star studded affair

As we all know, today one of the most famous and prestigious awards shows down South is taking place, the Britannia Filmfare awards 2016. The night is just beginning and the stage is set for all the performances that we are going to witness tonight. But before all that, it is important to know who all the attending the show and which top actors are actually there. The night with a lot of celebs flocking to the event like Suriya, Amy Jackson, Rakul Preet Singh, Catherine Tresa, Dhanush, Tamannaah Bhatia, Nayanthara, Nivin Pauly, Mammootty, Sai Pallavi, Rahul, Chinmayi, Swetha Mohan, Pragya Jaiswal, Arya, Jagapathi Babu, Pranitha Subhash, GV Prakash, Sruthi Hariharan, K Viswanath, Madhan Karky, Akhil Akkineni, Reshmi Rathore, Payal Ghosh, Radhika, Ritika Singh, Parvathy Nair, Parul Yadav, Devi Sri Prasad, Venkatesh, Kushboo Sundar and many others. The evening kicked off with a jovial banter by hosts Rahul and Chinmayi. This was followed by a dance performance by Kannada actress Hari Priya. In the red carpet, Amy Jackson, Rakul Preet Singh and Pranitha Subhash were looking the best dressed of the lot. Looking forward to a sensational performance from Amy Jackson and later on from Tamannaah Bhatia and Rakul Preet Singh. As for nominations the contest is heavy between many actors like Jayam RAvi, Ajith Kumar, Dhanush, Kamal Haasan and Vikram. In Telugu, it is more cut and dried since Baahubali is there and will probably sweep away most awards. But anyway, the position of the best actor is heavily contested by Mahesh Babu, Prabhas, Jr NTR, Allu Arjun and Nani. Stay tuned for more updates.
