ZANOTTI TOASTS EXPANDED BEVERLY HILLS BOUTIQUE: Giuseppe Zanotti touched down in Los Angeles on Tuesday night to fete the opening of his expanded Beverly Hills boutique, now 1,783 square feet. “I’m not a teenager anymore, now I’m a man,” he joked. The collection has grown to include men’s and girls’ shoes and accessories since it originally opened four years ago. The modern space, featuring geometric white painted steel walls and chrome fixtures, is a clean backdrop for the splashy shoes. “I like to have a lot of fireworks in my job but the store should be more minimal to balance the power of the collection,” he said. “I prefer to design shoes but my management has pushed me to open stores to have more visibility.” Zanotti opened stores in Dallas and Puerto Rico last month, and will open a store in Houston, his ninth in the U.S., in May. “My ideal is to create an exciting product. I believe in extreme revolution in fashion, but not in life. I like peace and love.” Joining Zanotti at the store were Beyonce, Naya Rivera and Katherine McPhee, and Gillian Jacobs and Kid Cudi stopped by a dinner he threw afterwards at Sunset Tower.
