Rajinikanth directed well-known film like
Veerappan and Nammoora Huduga. He made his directorial debut with Aparanji and went on to direct films like Henne Ninageke Ee Bandhana,'Veerappan, Sangliana 3 and Nammoora Huduga, to name a few.
His film Veerappan, a 1991 release, got a state award for the year 1992-93.
The veteran director was trained at Chennai Film Institute, where his batchmates were Rajanikanth, Ashok, Hema Chaudhary and Raghunandan. Ravindranath started his film career as an associate director and worked in films like Bhaktha Siriyala and Ganda Hendathi, to name a few.
