Peshawar: At least 131 suspects including 10 Afghans were held during search operations in different parts of Peshawar on Thursday.

Police accompanied by women constables and sniffer dogs conducted door-to-door search operations in Hayatabad, Sarband and Pishtakhra areas and rounded up 131 suspects.

The police claimed to have recovered weapons and a huge cache of ammunition from suspects’ possession.

The suspects have been shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigations.
