1000 weeks of DDLJ: Shah Rukh, Kajol to celebrate on Comedy Nights with Kapil?
Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge completes 1000 weeks on December 12 this year and Shah Rukh and Kajol will reportedly celebrate the film's success on Comedy Nights with Kapil.
It's been 14 years that Raj and Simran's romantic saga hit the silver screen and inspired millions of fans to beleive in love. And, the blockbuster Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge completes 1000 weeks on December 12 this year. The film which was released in October 1995 is still running at Mumbai's Maratha Mandir and if reports are to believed Shah Rukh Khan has expressed his desire to have a great celebration when the film completes 1000 weeks.
According to a tabloid, film's lead cast Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol will make a special appearance on TV show Comedy Nights with Kapil to mark the occasion. It is reported that Kajol and Shah Rukh will shoot for the episode on November 30 and talk about their memories related to the film.
In fact, DDLJ was the first film to broadcast its making as a thirty minute show on Doordarshan. Shah Rukh, who has made innumerable appearances on Comedy Nights with Kapil, considers it as a perfect platform to celebrate the film's success.
Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge is still a crowd puller for 11.30 am show at Maratha Mandir, which is running continuously since its release in 1995.
