MOM DE PLUME
Last seen in the play Nirbhaya, Priyanka Bose is back in the international spotlight. This time as Dev Patel's mother in Lion-a biopic based on the story of Saroo Brierley, who was separated from his mum and siblings at age five, adopted by an Australian couple and who traced his family using Google Earth.

COMIC CAPER

Two of India's funny-men come together in Baar Baar Dekho, scheduled for release on September 9. Rohan Joshi of AIB fame is one of the actors, while comedian Anuvab Pal is a co-writer along with director Nitya Mehra.

SOCIAL ANIMAL

Ranbir Kapoor is reticent no more. With the release of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil less than two months away, the actor was spotted attending Janmashtami festivities, celebrating Rustom's success with Will Smith, and walking the ramp at the Lakm Fashion Week for his buddy Kunal Rawal.

U.P. TOWN GAL

Having just wrapped up filming for Raabta in Hungary and Mauritius, Kriti Sanon is headed straight for Uttar Pradesh. She starts shooting for Lucknow Central this month, with Farhan Akhtar. Next up is Bareilly ki Barfi, with Ayushmann Khurrana and Rajkummar Rao.

MUSIC AND LYRICS

The last time Gulzar and Jaya Bachchan worked together was in Koshish (1972). They recently came together again, collaborating at a fundraising event for girl children, with a recitation of some of Rabindranath Tagore's poetry.
