The trailer of MS Dhoni: The Untold Story didn’t leave us satiated, it left us intrigued. Starring Sushant Singh Rajput as Dhoni, it shows us the other side of the Indian cricket captain. The boy who left football for cricket, the teenager who is obsessed with cricket and the young man who is not satisfied with being another face in the crowd.
With MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’s first song, ‘Besabriyaan’, we can actually feel Dhoni’s impatience to achieve his dreams. We got hold of some exclusive images from the soulful track, which proves why life is incomplete without an impossible dream. ‘Besabriyaan’ is an ode to the undying spirit that drives us against all odds, and pushes us to go beyond our own limits. One look at the song and we know why it resonates with the story of Dhoni who had to fight to achieve his goals.
Every piece of news that trickles down from the film’s sets and promotions is only strengthening the fact that there was much more to Dhoni’s life before he became India’s most successful captain. And going by the pictures, lead actor Sushant Singh Rajput has left no stone unturned to get into the skin of the character.
Dhoni spent his childhood in a small town, worked as a railway ticket collector, abided by the rules of his father, yet desired of representing the country on the cricket field. The Indian skipper has indeed come a long way, which is exactly the story we will see in the film. ‘Besabriyaan’ is the perfect representation of his hardships, and how despite a routine life, the cricketer did not stop dreaming big. The song has the perfect essence!
