Serena Williams Rocks High-Slit Skirt And Jordans Ahead Of Wimbledon
Defending Wimbledon champion Serena Williams stepped out for a pre-tournament party in London on Thursday. The Nike tennis star traded in her NikeCourt shoes for a night of heels paired with a high-slit skirt and sheer blouse.
Other guests included Caroline Wozniacki, Eugenie Bouchard, Petra Kvitova, Heather Watson, Laura Robson and Naomi Broady.
After the Women’s Tennis Association event, Williams joined sister Venus Williams and singer Lionel Richie for a dinner date in London’s Mayfair. Williams swapped out her leather pumps for a pair of Air Jordan Retro 1 sneakers.
All eyes will be on the WTA’s No. 1 ranked singles player next week as she defends her Wimbledon championship title. Last year, Williams defeated 21-year old Garbine Muguruza in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4. It was Williams’ sixth Wimbledon win.
Earlier this month, Williams attended the premiere of her documentary, “Serena,” which premiered on Epix on Wednesday. Williams opted for nude strappy sandals paired with a gold, high-slit dress for the occasion.
