New Delhi: A Malayalee girl is basking in the glory of success secured at the Indian Economics Service exam. Aishwarya Menon, assistant professor of Shyam Lal College of the Delhi University, secured second rank in the IES exam conducted by the UPSC.
Daughter of deputy secretary of the Railway department Thrissur Kodungalloor Variyamparambil KCN Menon and Palakkad Chittilencherry Janaki Menon, Aishwarya finished her schooling at the Mater Dei School where she was the school topper in her Plus Two.
After obtaining her degree from the Jesus and Mary College in Economics from Delhi, Aishwarya did her MA from the Hyderabad School of Economics and secured the University 2nd rank. Aishwarya’s mother is a teacher at the school where Aishwarya studied. Aparna Menon, working as assistant manager at SBI in Hyderabad, is Aishwarya’s sister.
