Diver Dhabitah getting closer to big breakthrough

PETALING JAYA: Youngster Nur Dhabitah Sabri took a big step towards realising her World Championships aspirations by partnering Wendy Ng Yan Yee to an impressive display in the women’s 3m springboard synchro in the third round of the Diving World Series.

The 15-year-old Dhabitah came so close to a stunning debut in the prestigious series with Wendy with their final dive at the Kazan Aquatics Palace in Kazan, Russia, on Friday. The duo had the third highest score of 64.80 and just missed out on the bronze by 1.47 points.
